Dear Chapter Members & Friends,
The American Culinary Federation, Rhode Island Chapter is hosting its’ 26th annual Golf Tournament to be held at the Jamestown Country Club on May 22, 2017. This tournament began 26 years ago by the Newport Chapter of the American Culinary Federation under the direction and perseverance of Chef Phil Larson. Since the beginning this event has been very popular event among the hospitality community.
Thousands of dollars have been raised over the years from this event to fund culinary scholarships at many of the local Career & Technical Centers and Colleges. We look forward to continuing this event with your support.
We are asking our Membership and friends of the Chapter for support. Again this year we are offering the Tee Box Sponsorships for $150.00 each, which gives us the potential to raise over $1300. We are also asking your assistance in prize donations, and sponsorships. Attached to this email you will find registration forms and sponsorship forms, in addition all information and documents can be found on our website @ www.acfri.org.
Most of all we hope you are able to come out to play a round of golf and enjoy this event. The tournament is designed for golfers at all levels and is a lot of fun. There will be plenty of food, laughs and good cheers. We look forward to seeing you on the 22nd of May, rain or shine!
